Calendula infused oil/ Cellular extract

Calendula oil is derived from the vibrant petals of Calendula officinalis and is celebrated for its potent skincare benefits. The oil's active compounds include flavonoids, triterpenoids, and carotenoids, each contributing uniquely to its therapeutic properties.

Flavonoids, such as quercetin and luteolin, are key antioxidants in calendula oil. These compounds neutralize free radicals, thereby reducing oxidative stress and inflammation. Their antioxidant action helps to protect the skin from environmental damage and premature aging.

Triterpenoids, including faradiol and oleanolic acid, are known for their anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. These compounds help soothe irritated skin, reduce redness, and prevent minor infections, making calendula oil ideal for calming inflamed or sensitive areas.

Carotenoids, which are precursors to vitamin A, play a crucial role in skin health. They promote cell regeneration, improve skin texture, and enhance overall skin appearance. This regenerative effect helps in reducing the appearance of scars and fine lines.
